Environeers is a website focusing on increasing everyday actions that help the environment in big ways. Users of Environeers will become pioneers of environmentalism — hence the name. By becoming an Environeer, you tell us that you're committed to keeping our earth healthy for future generations.
After making an account with Environeers, users will arrive at the landing page, where they can see the different tasks they can accomplish, all worth different point amounts. After users accomplish these tasks, they can hit the "done" button, and points will be added to their account. In the future, we at Environeers hope to implement a point redemption system, where users can trade their points for various awards.
The team behind Environeers is composed of four members:
Abigail Thomas is a freshman Computer Science major at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Tabreek Somani is a sophomore Computer Science major at UBC in British Columbia.
Khoa Vu is a sophomore Biomedical/Medical Engineering major at the University of Texas at Austin.
Anjelica Avorque is a junior Computer Science major at the University of Texas at Dallas.
